On BGA, tiyusufaly asked me about Cameron Browne's Hex book: tiyusufaly was considering buying it, and was wondering if it has anything that's neither in Matthew Seymour's e-book nor here on hexwiki. + | The page Hex Strategy Making the Right Connections actually discusses that the book is a bit outdated now. All of the advice in the book is 20+ years old, and squarely grounded not only in the pre-AI era, but even in the pre-decent-Hex-solvers era. I got a copy from the library once, but I didn't find any strategy advice in it that was better than what is in Seymour's book or this Wiki. I would say it is at this point only of historical interest. Selinger (talk) 03:37, 3 January 2024 (UTC) |
