Edge template III-2e is a 3rd row edge template with two stones. Red can guarantee connecting both stones to the edge.

Defending the template

Red has two main threats by playing at "A" or "B":

These moves lead to an easy direct connection. Because there is no common empty hex used in both threats, Blue cannot prevent Red from linking to the bottom.
